How can a brand team monitor competitor prices across markets?

Datka datasets give you each competitor brand's full catalog from its own website, with local list and sale prices in the US, Europe, Japan and China. A new snapshot arrives every month, in one schema across brands.

Competitor price monitoring

Prices from the brands themselves

Datasets come from each brand's own website, where the brand sets its list prices and its sales. That makes them the reference for comparing price positioning between brands, rather than a reseller's discount.

What you can compare

  • List prices for comparable products across competitor brands.
  • Sale prices and how much of a range is on sale, by market.
  • Price differences between a brand's own markets.
  • How prices move from one monthly snapshot to the next.

Ready to use

A full data dictionary comes with each dataset, and quality checkpoints run at every stage before release. Datasets will be delivered through data marketplaces, and Enterprise data can go to BigQuery, CSV, JSON or an API.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which competitors are covered?
Each dataset covers one brand across its markets. Request access and we will send the current brand list; the marketplace listings follow in November.
Can I monitor more often than monthly?
Datasets are monthly. Enterprise work can run at the frequency you need, priced by quote.
Can I monitor retailers as well as brands?
Not in a dataset, which covers brands' own websites. Retailer monitoring is Enterprise work; book a consultation to scope it.
