How do you keep collection stable when sites change?
E-commerce sites change their layouts and anti-bot defenses constantly. We monitor every source and our pipelines flag breakages automatically, so changes are caught quickly rather than discovered in your data. When a site changes, our team updates the collection logic and validates the output before it reaches you, so the schema and quality stay consistent. The maintenance is on us, continuously.
What happens if a scraper breaks? Will my data stop?
Keeping the feed running is our responsibility, not yours. If a source breaks, we detect it, fix it, and backfill where possible, so you aren't left with gaps or stale data. You get a reliable, continuous feed instead of a pipeline your team has to babysit.
What data can you collect?
The kind of public information any visitor can see on an online store: product catalogs and listings, prices and discounts, stock and availability, MAP and MSRP signals, and catalog or assortment changes. We can deliver these across the countries, markets, and locales you care about. If there's a specific field you need, ask: if a visitor can see it on the site, we can usually collect it, and we'll confirm feasibility before you commit.
Can you collect data for multiple countries or locales?
Yes. We routinely collect the same products and prices across different countries, markets, and language locales, so you can compare like for like across regions.
Is it legal? How do you handle data and privacy?
We collect public business and product data, the same information any visitor can see, and we don't collect personal data or bypass logins. We work privacy-by-design: data minimization on anything that could be personal, and analytics on this site run only with your consent. A Data Processing Agreement is available for client engagements, and we're happy to walk you through exactly what a given project gathers.
How is it priced? Is it one-time or subscription?
Pricing is per-project and built around what you need: the sites, the data points, and the refresh cadence. Most engagements are an ongoing subscription, because the value is in keeping the data live and fresh as sites change, but one-off snapshots are available where that fits better. Teams of any size are welcome, from a single use-case to large, high-volume programs.
How fresh is the data, and how do I get it?
You choose the cadence: monthly, weekly, or daily, depending on how fast your market moves. We deliver to BigQuery, CSV, JSON, or an API, so the data lands where your team already works. It's exportable and yours.
Which sites and platforms can you collect from?
A wide range of e-commerce sites. Independent stores on Shopify, WooCommerce, and Magento are our fast lane. Large marketplaces vary in difficulty, and we'll give you an honest read in the free assessment rather than overpromising.
How is Datka different from scraping tools like Bright Data or Apify?
Those are infrastructure: you still build, run, and maintain the scrapers and turn the raw output into something usable. Datka delivers the finished, quality-checked dataset, so you skip the pipeline and the proxy bills entirely.
How is Datka different from price-monitoring or competitive-intelligence dashboards?
Dashboards lock your data inside their tool, usually at enterprise prices. Datka gives you the underlying data itself: structured, business-ready, and exportable into whatever you already use.
Can you handle large catalogs and high volumes?
Yes. We collect across large catalogs, many sites, and multiple locales. For high-volume or custom programs, get a quote and we'll scope it with you.
Can I see the data quality first?
Yes. The product page shows what a delivery looks like, and the free assessment gets you a real sample collected from your own target sites before you commit.
How do I get started?
Request a free assessment. Tell us the sites and data you need, and we'll come back with a feasibility read, a real sample, and a recommended next step.
