What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help websites work and collect information. Some are essential; others are optional and load only if you allow them.

Managing your choices

When you first visit, a consent banner lets you accept or decline optional cookies by category. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings on the site. Necessary cookies cannot be switched off, as the site cannot function properly without them. One exception: the live-chat cookies described under Chat below are not managed through the banner.

Necessary

Always active. Required for the site to work and stay secure.

  • Consent preference: stores your cookie choices so we do not ask again (kept in your browser local storage as datka-consent until you clear your browser data or change your choice).
  • Security / anti-abuse: Cloudflare may set a short-lived cookie such as __cf_bm (expires after about 30 minutes) to protect the site and the contact form from bots and spam.

Analytics

Set only after you accept analytics cookies. These help us understand how the site is used.

  • Google Analytics 4: _ga (2 years), _ga_<id> (2 years), _gid (24 hours), which measure page views and aggregate usage.
  • Microsoft Clarity: _clck (1 year), _clsk (1 day), CLID (1 year), used for session replay and heatmaps.

Chat

  • Tawk.to live chat: the chat widget currently loads by default and sets cookies such as __tawkuuid so the chat can function and remember your conversation. These cookies are not managed through the consent banner. You can block them by disabling cookies for tawk.to in your browser settings; the widget may not work if you do.

Marketing

We do not currently use any marketing or advertising cookies. If that changes, we will update this page and the consent options.
