What are the alternatives to EDITED, Intelligence Node and Bright Data datasets for brand price data?
The options fall into three groups: retail intelligence platforms, ready-made datasets, and custom data feeds. Which one fits depends on five questions about coverage, structure, history, documentation and China.
Request access Updated 3 November 2026. Every vendor fact below was read on that vendor's own public page on that date, and each one links to its source. Datka sells in this category too, so read the comparison with that in mind.
Five questions to compare them on
- Does it cover brands' own websites, country by country, in one schema?
- Are colour and size structured fields, or buried in a product name?
- Does it arrive on a regular schedule, with the history stated?
- Is every field documented in a data dictionary?
- Does it cover China, and from which sources?
Retail intelligence platforms
Platforms give your team software: dashboards, alerts and analysis on top of the vendor's own data. They suit teams that want a tool to work in every day, and they are priced like enterprise software.
- EDITED describes itself as an AI-powered retail intelligence platform. Its AWS Marketplace listing shows USD 300,000 for 12 months, priced on module usage and the number of users and regions (aws.amazon.com/marketplace, listing prodview-a26qg3h4ebtkq).
- Intelligence Node states that the minimum project size starts at USD 5,000 a month, with a one-year minimum term. It publishes service levels: 99% on-time delivery, 99.9% of SKUs updated within the contracted window, and at most 1 false positive per 100 exact matches. Delivery is by API, a SaaS portal or file transfer (intelligencenode.com/pricing).
- Centric Market Intelligence tracks competitor assortments, prices and promotions across 760k+ brands and 100+ countries, with 12 years of history and 24-hour update cycles. Its price is not published (centricsoftware.com/centric-market-intelligence).
- Particl publishes plans at USD 250, 500 and 1,000 a month across 20,000+ retailers. Bulk exports and API access are part of its Custom plan only (particl.com/pricing, particl.com).
Ready-made datasets
Datasets give your team files to load into your own tools. They cost far less than a platform, and the work of analysis stays with you.
- Bright Data sells ready-made datasets per website, from up to USD 0.0025 per record with a USD 250 minimum order, refreshed from one-off up to monthly, across 250+ domains. Its Nike dataset lists prices, sale prices, sizes, colours and ratings; its page does not show a split by country (brightdata.com/products/datasets, brightdata.com/products/datasets/nike).
- Data Boutique is a marketplace where independent sellers set the price of each file. Its own example is EUR 10 per download for Nike.com USA price data (support.databoutique.com, unit pricing article).
- Datka sells one dataset per brand, covering the brand's own websites in the US, Europe, Japan and China in one schema, with structured colour and size, a monthly snapshot with its history stated, and a full data dictionary. In China, datasets cover brand websites and WeChat mini programs.
Custom data feeds
A custom feed is built to your list of sites and run for you. It suits a scope that no ready-made dataset covers.
- Zyte Data states that a custom feed from a single source typically starts around USD 500 a month, and each additional source on the same feed adds about USD 200 a month (zyte.com/zyte-data).
- Datka Enterprise starts from your scope: the brands, markets, fields and frequency you need, delivered where your team works, priced by quote.
How to choose
- Your team wants software to work in every day, and has the budget: a platform.
- Your team has analysts and its own tools, and needs brand data across markets: a dataset.
- Your scope is specific and nothing ready-made covers it: a custom feed or Enterprise.
